castle in the center of Hylar lies home to many evil and powerful creatures.
Beware of its dangers, and beware of the Great Desert Dragon that lies deep
within. Seek out 4 feathers to form a key, and pray that Severan guides you to
this Holy Helm.
From Cliff face, 2n,2w,14nw,14n, 2w, n, answer SSENT,
up, sw, push red button (dracosphinx attacks), get feather from corpse (red),
search nest, (back at masher and slasher), 2w, n, answer SSENT, 5n, up, nw, push
yellow button (owlbear attacks), get feather from corpse (yellow), search nest,
(back at masher and slasher), 3e, n, up, se, push orange button (3 hippogriffs
attack), get feather from corpse (orange), search nest, (back at masher and
slasher) 3e, 6n, up, ne, push green button (3 perytons attack), get feather from
corpse (green), search nest, (back at masher and slasher), 2w, n, answer SSENT,
3n, e, up, 2s, 4e, 2n, combine feathers, 2w (Qzyxtrym, the great desert dragon
attacks), get helm from corpse
Note: Be prepared for the last fight. You
cannot leave the room once you enter. Qzyxtrym gets 5-12 attacks per round, with
an estimated max damage of 30k per round. He has 20k hp and is highly resistant
to everything. The Holy Helm of Severan can only be used once per person. If you
equip the helm, it reverses your alignment. To re-reverse your alignment, you
must do the Crown of Ebwy quest.
